Join Edition Records for a listening party at Holding Patterns — powered by one of the most immersive sound systems in the city.

Experience two standout releases in full sonic detail, including an exclusive first listen to Khmer Live in Bergen by Nils Petter Molvær — a bold live reimagining of his 1997 landmark album, recorded in 2023. With trip-hop pulses, ambient swells, Nordic noir, and Molvær’s searing processed trumpet, this widescreen update blurs the lines between jazz, electronica, and cinematic soundscape.

Also featured is John Patitucci’s Spirit Fall, a powerful new trio album that channels the spirit of modern New York jazz. As DownBeat puts it: “Delivers freewheeling energy and surprising depth... an engaging listen that evokes the spirit of a quintessential New York modern jazz trio.”

Both albums will be heard in full on a system designed for pure immersive listening.

The event also marks the opening of First Pressing — an Exhibition of original hand-printed letterpress prints by design and artist Oli Bentley of design studio Split for Edition Records artists — including artwork for John Patiticci’s Spirit Fall.
